Chandeleur Island Brewing Company is in need of a Lead Packaging Technician. This position oversees all aspect of packing our product from can filling, keg filling/washing, and bottle filling.   The ideal candidate will be mechanically inclined and have experience running a canning line, cleaning and filling kegs and understand the necessary parameters for filling in a sanitary format to unsure a high standard of quality.

Job Duties:
Setting up, running cleaning and maintaining our Wild Goose Canning line. Performing seam QA checks throughout the day to ensure quality parameters are being met.

Washing and filling kegs.

Packaging wild and barrel aged beers into bottles.

Fill in where needed around the brewery including brew house and cellar

Ideal candidate will possess:

• Attention to detail
• Experience running a canning line
• Forklift experience
• Ability to work as a team
• Must be able to stand for long periods in an extremely hot and wet environment
• Must be able to meet physical requirement of job including moving kegs, climbing ladders, etc.

Hourly Compensation based on experience.
